Welcome to United Way of the Wine Country

United Way of the Wine Country has been dedicated to improving lives locally for 50 years. Everyone deserves a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, income that can support a family through retirement, and good health. To create lasting change, United Way focuses on solving the underlying causes of common problems related to education, income and health. We are committed to achieving lasting solutions - not just quick fixes - for our entire community.

Little Free Libraries

Kids at Little Free Library

Little Free Libraries provide 24/7 access to books in areas where books are scarce. Especially during the summer months, Little Free Libraries are an excellent source for local families and children to access books any time.  In 2017, United Way and our Women United partnered with the Career Technical Education (CTE) Foundation of Sonoma County and local high schools to build six Little Free Libraries for the Wright School District. View our Little Free Library Map with the location of each library.
