United Way of the Wine Country has been dedicated to improving lives locally for 50 years. Everyone deserves a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, income that can support a family through retirement, and good health. To create lasting change, United Way focuses on solving the underlying causes of common problems related to education, income and health. We are committed to achieving lasting solutions - not just quick fixes - for our entire community.
United Way of the Wine Country’s Tocqueville Society honors those who serve our community through their extraordinary philanthropy. Tocqueville investments begin at $10,000 annually, and there are numerous planned giving options available to fulfill the investment as well. The society is named for 18th century French historian, Alexis de Tocqueville, who recognized and celebrated the voluntary spirit that lives in the heart of the American people.
Membership in the Tocqueville Society is your way to affirm your leadership in and commitment to our community, and Society members enjoy exclusive appreciation events held at the Farmhouse Inn and Restaurant as well as national recognition in the United Way Worldwide Tocqueville Society registry.
We thank our Tocqueville Society members who significantly enhance the quality of life in our community through their investments.
